Meet Brooks Barron

I opened my real estate office here in Vermont in 1967 with a simple business plan: interview prospects, analyze what I hear, then use my background and long experience to guide them to the perfect property.

Life lessons learned in the Marine Corps have served me well where discipline, organization and hard work were daily requirements. When customers receive more than they have expected, a long term relationship usually follows and new friends for life are a happy outcome.

Unlike most brokers, I offer advice and support following their purchase where a career measured in decades includes other professionals of most every kind. New comers to Vermont are grateful to meet lawyers, architects, accountants, builders and many other contacts with fine credentials.

Prior to my move to Vermont, I managed a tree and landscape business outside of Boston and the experience has proven most helpful in determining possibilities for improving property. I have been active for years in restoring antique buildings, a labor of love with many rewards. Often an “Ugly Duckling” property can be found and, with taste and imagination, be transformed into something very special.

Our approach to real estate does not feature selling in the usual sense but rather informed guidance that helps a prospect  make good decisions.

I look forward to our meeting and getting your search underway.
